What you need to know:
The Miami Dolphins return to Hard Rock Stadium to face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 5, still looking for their first win under Jeff Hafley. Miami fell to 0-4 with a 15-10 loss at the Minnesota Vikings, a game the Dolphins trailed 9-0 at halftime. They cut the deficit to 12-10 in the third quarter with a 12-yard touchdown run by Ollie Gordon II. A three-and-out in the fourth quarter then gave the ball back to Minnesota, which ran out the final 5:41. Miami has not led in a game this season, and the four teams it has faced are a combined 15-1.

Gordon led the Dolphins with 100 rushing yards on nine carries, and Malik Washington caught five passes for 67 yards. Quarterback Malik Willis threw for only 85 yards, and the offence is still without running back De’Von Achane, who tore his ACL in Week 3. On defence, Zach Sieler sacked Kyler Murray on the first snap for Miami’s first sack of the season. The Dolphins then had no answer for tight end T.J. Hockenson, who caught 13 passes for 119 yards.

Cincinnati arrives at 2-2 after back-to-back losses. The Bengals lost 22-17 at home to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 4, a week after a 30-27 loss at the Pittsburgh Steelers. Quarterback Joe Burrow completed 39 of 54 passes for 428 yards with two total touchdowns and two interceptions. Tee Higgins caught 11 passes for 157 yards. Chase Brown was stopped one yard short of a first down with 50 seconds left, and Cincinnati’s final three passes fell incomplete.

The Bengals’ receiving group is a concern. Ja’Marr Chase left Sunday’s game with a concussion and Higgins suffered an adductor injury late, and their status for this game had not been confirmed when this was written. Andrei Iosivas is already on injured reserve. This is Cincinnati’s last game before its bye week.
